If your call is not answered immediately, you will be transferred to an answer phone where you will be provided with the direct number for our on call member of staff. We also have specific guidance for breakdowns, lost/stolen (keys and vehicles), and accidents. Please look at the appropriate heading below for further information.

Breakdown of Hire Cars, Vans or MPV's

In the unlikely event that you are having a problem with one of our vehicles, please contact our 24 hour emergency contact number (01782 848627), our on-call staff will be happy to help in any way they can. If you have broken down, please ensure that you have to hand details of your current location and a description of the problem.

Please note that problems related to running out of fuel, or putting incorrect fuel into a vehicle, are not covered by our normal breakdown assistance, and may incur additional charges for supplying fuel or vehicle recovery.

Lost and Stolen Keys for Hire Vehicles.

If you have lost your keys, you will need to contact us to see if we can arrange a replacement set to be transported to you. You must be aware that we will charge for this service, based upon the distance required to transport the replacement keys, and any charges made to us in order to get the keys to you in a timely fashion.

If you have locked your keys in the car, please contact us before arranging for anyone to gain access to the vehicle by other means. You are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle in an attempt to gain access without the keys.

If your vehicle has been lost or stolen, you should contact the police in the first instance to report this fact, and then contact us on our head office number (01782 848627) to discuss further requirements.

Accidents with Hire Vehicles

We understand that accidents happen, and we would like to be able to deal with any issues as quickly as possible. In order to do this, we need your help. If you have had an accident in or involving one of our vehicles, it is important that you obtain the following details as soon as possible and provide them to us, so we can inform our insurers and progress dealing with any matters arising from the accident.

You will need to record the following details for all parties involved;

  • The person's name
  • The person's address
  • The person's phone number
  • The make, model and registration number of any other vehicles involved
  • The insurance details of other vehicles involved if available

Make sure that you also record the time and location of the accident.

If there were any witnesses, then you should also obtain their contact details. If you have the equipment to do so, photographs of the accident and any damage caused are often useful. As soon as possible, you should contact the 24 hour emergency number (01782 848627) to inform them of the accident. You will be advised of any further action required on your part.

If there has been any injury to any person, you should contact the police as well as the ambulance service if required.

Finally, you will need to come into the office and complete an accident/damage report form. You must bring your driving licence with you.
