The following general terms and conditions apply when hiring any vehicle from us. If you are uncertain that you are able to meet any of the conditions, then please contact us to discuss your circumstance. This is only a brief summary, and our full terms and conditions are available on request.

Age for Hiring and Renting Vehicles

We cannot hire any vehicle to any person under the age of 25. Some categories of vehicle have a different age limit, and this is indicated on the category details. All drivers must be above the stated age. The upper age limit for car hire is 70 years of age.

Driving Licence Conditions that apply to Renting Vehicles.

Driving licence – You must hold a full, valid driving licence and have held that licence for more than two years. You must normally present your licence at time of hire, however for a small fee UK licences can be checked during weekday working hours with the DVLA.

Driving Licence Endorsements

Endorsements – If you have more than 6 points or a ban on your licence, we may still be able to hire to you, however you will need to contact us to discuss your endorsements. Our insurers may refuse to provide cover for certain endorsements.

Hiring Vehicles if you are a Student.

Students – we are able to hire to UK students, for an additional fee of 5 pound/day or 10 pound/week . Due to insurance restrictions, we are unable to hire to international students.

Hiring Group 12 – Mercedes CLS.

Group 12 – We are unable to insure the Mercedes CLS, therefore a valid insurance cover-note (displaying the vehicle registration) or a Fleet policy must be presented on collection of the vehicle prior to departure.

At all times, we reserve the right to refuse to hire any of our vehicles to any prospective hirer should we believe that there are unacceptable risks to us and our vehicles, or if our insurers refuse for any reason to provide cover for the proposed hire.
